Officially registered under the Non- Governmental Organization Act No .24 of 2002 and the Legal Aid Act No.1 of 2017. With a core mission : to ensure that the law serves as a shield not a sword especially for the most vulnerable.

Headquartered in Dar es salaam, E.L.A.F Provides free legal aid, legal education, human rights advocacy and policy reform engegment,particularly for children,women,persons with disabilities, and underserved communities. Our dedicated team of advocates, volunteers, and educators works tirelessly to empower citizen with the knowledge, tools, and representation they need to claim, and defend their rights.
We believe that peace cannot exist without justice, and justice cannot be realized without accessible legal support. Our work bridges the gape between the law and the people it was meant to protect bulding a society where every voice counts and no right is left behind.
